‘Alleviate’ is a glimpse into the internal world of Noa Luna, during her process of healing after her trauma of being in a toxic relationship. Before, she felt as if her body and ‘herself’ coexisted. Her body was no longer her home. Now, having freed herself from this relationship, she needs to learn how to walk again. Fragile, but determined, Noa takes the first steps to find herself and her trust in life again.
This work was part of the collaborative exhibition ‘Salvation’, together with a fellow Willem de Kooning student, at Maaskoe Galerie in Rotterdam.
